Beautiful Burden

Contagious emoting,

Prestigiously floating,

Committing to life

While time is unfolding.

Displaced trust-

Liars and lust,

Disappear with the wind

As the hinges rust.

Imprisoned in time,

Rushing to find,

The parts we lost

Along the ride.

Along the road.

No place called home.

Sway with trees-

Until the stars burn cold.

As grays recede,

Eyes don’t bleed,

For the burden of guilt

Has begun to flee.
