the moonlight
calmly glazing the night sky
the gentle breeze kindly radiating my skin
causing hairs on my skin to rise in ecstasy

the quietness
and restfulness of the air was deafening
as if the wind itself was protesting to the gods
‘look at us gods! We are gliding! Right before your eyes!”

the stars above us
like a protective mother with her newborn child
keeping a loving watchful eye
guiding us in the nighttime
ensuring one day we will grow up to blast off to the beyond
together

-it reminds me of you

Your moonlit smile
it radiates the darkness in my life
Your oh-so gentle touches
make me lost in ecstasy

Your quiet gaze
it screams so loud it deafens me
Like a defying deity
who ran away from immortality to be with me
i can read the messages you send
‘Gods, look at us! We are in love! Right before your eyes!’

Your embrace everlasting
like the stars above
protecting me from the nighttime
keeping a watchful eye
guiding our love
so that one day we will venture off into the beyond
together

-it reminds me of you
