They always stay green
Through out winter
Into the summer months
Rarely dying
Roots planted into the ground
I wish I was evergreen
I wish I could be happy and green again
A simple melody
Calling out to me
I miss you
But you don’t miss me
At least I don’t think you do
I didn’t mean much
And I guess that’s okay
Because I meant a lot to them
