Grammar Rules
Using my active voice,
I confessed my love.
I linked the hints I gave using a conjunction
So you could understand it
Instead of a comma to connect us two,
I’ve got you a ring instead.
Understand, affection, mine
Serial comma the list and take it all
I could use a semicolon;
To help relate you and me.
Every day I love you more,
Out of habit, I suppose
Stop looking away from me,
I’m telling you something important now.
I shared my feelings with you,
Not because I was forced to.
I have stopped smoking but,
I have never stopped loving you.
I have been loving you since we first met,
This is what I have been waiting for all my life.
By the time I proposed, your responsive demeanour vanished,
I had gotten a bit impatient and asked you again
“You grammar teachers…” You sigh deeply.
I only smile as you bashfully pull me close.
im studying english, and i like grammar like a lot
