Please don’t mistake me for not caring
I care for you
I genuinely do
I’m just naturally nonchalant
For soo long I wanted to be numb
And now look at me dumbfounded
You could say my heart was lost but babe you found it
I hold you close
I just hope it’s right
Not just for the night
But I promise to hold you tight
My face no my demeanor says I don’t care
Truth be told it matters allot rather your there or not
I can say all the right things
Like how you make my heart sing
Or how I wanna get you a diamond ring
But here’s the thing I’m just making the same mistake and that is that I’m nonchalant
