It was silly of me
to think we
could co exist
I remember
we were
once tight
like a bald fist
A bond so strong
Thought you
was so right
And Couldn’t
do me no wrong
That was then
But I know now
And to stop you
from hurting me
I now know how
I had to block
you from my heart
And keep you
out of my mind
And even if
I’m hurting severely
Inside
I gotta let you think
I’m doing just fine.
