On the hills of a slaying darkness,
I hear still my lost lover’s roar.
light and sad, with grief transparent,
my melancholy fills with you.
You, and you alone, my sorrow,
Still untouched and unmoved.
My heart flames again, and loves,
for then what else could it do?
