Don't come a knockin'
No ones home

"A beggar you say?"

I am but an empty cupboard
With shattered bones

A shelter of a girl
Who once breathed before

"What are you searching for?"

They took the last of it
The ones who came before

Nothing's left but empty canisters,
Torn out packages,

And pieces of a bleeding heart
Scattered on the floor

"Oh you want that to?"

Go on and take it
I don't need it no more

A warning for your greedy mind
Only sorrow will follow

"For the dogs you say?"

At least one good thing
May have come of it
