im searching
for what we had
in careless lovers
uninterested
in stargazing

they're searching
for what we had
in careless not-so-innocents
craving
affection

i play this lie
speaking my lines
perfectly
all too aware
that i am just a
number

i cannot be careless
with love
i don't want to
waste myself
i'd rather be alone
than play this
game
i dont want to be like this. i miss what we had but i won't find it in anyone but you. and i can't have you anymore. i want to move on but i can't let go of my best friend.
