Eating grapes from the vine
recumbent, regurgitating anachronistic archetypes
-who would have known hedonism to be so iconic-
repugnant, slow creeping dribble down the chin
such sultry stench still lingers
in the mouth of the pig
a torrent of fluid ‘something’
unclean
as is apt of this ritualistical endeavor
to stow away one’s unease
immaculate indulgence, defying the sanctity of spirit
