breaks on an unforgiving world
as night takes flight
in leathery wings transformed to feathers
sonar becoming sonic boom
as ****** reigns

as trailing smoke
transmutes
into a flock of fowl tempered crows
seeking to pluck out the eyes of the blind
that cannot see
that the end of man is not if and when
but simply
