A dim light shines across the waters a far distance away
Shining in the dark and gray mist
The light reflects off the waves of the water
Creating a path through the waves

In the distance is a ship which has been gone for a long time
The ship lost its way years ago and has been searching for home
Going port to port
Never finding home
Constantly searching

On this particular night, as the ship gets closer to land a light can be seen
The ship turns and aims for it
Moving quickly through the water
It’s a lighthouse
Its a welcome sight
As the ship gets closer, the light becomes brighter illuminating the land by it
Somehow the land looks familiar now after so long
The ship picks up speed anxious to reach land
The ship is coming home
