Chasing that Sunny Day

The night Is silence I have grow to know best The thrill of the shadows moving on their own accord The forgotten, the lost, and those nobody even knew Have gotten to know the night all to well Blood gets shed, innocence is forgotten, extinction is praised Tears go on, to make many believe it is only rain I fought so hard And when time seemed short I seen the Sunny day A guide into a much better world where there is not a single war The peaceful times I always saw, closer now then ever before The faces of the future, the carrier of of my legacy I know she watches this day Maybe finally I can stop chasing And finally lie in the sunlight with her at my side I hope there is still time to chase the Sunny day
