On earth with the heavenly flame
Soft breeze flows like fire
Untamed as the lion's mane

Hell is a cat dragged from the pyre
Whispers follow her coat
Frozen in the orifice of the swallowed mire

All the men saddled up to vote
Feeling the blistering cold
Wishing to warm their hands and foot

The cold lets out a hellish whisper
Almost like a howl of the olden wind
Gideon rings a bell at the end of summer
