Lonely Together

I’m lonely together

You see

Fingers intertwined

Lips locked, breath hot

Bed drinking us down

Like a tall glass of water

So much time

To give

But I feel

Fingers loose

Lips in knots, unsorted thoughts

Bed swallowing me up

Like a raging wave of white

So little time

To forgive
