A HUMILIATED BIRD I could not warble in a place where tigers tortured little lambs. They kidnapped them from weeping ewes too fat and weak to walk or bounce.
The ewes could do nothing at all, nor even their rams of long horns. They stood and looked how their lambs bled but could not say a word of blame.
I perched on that high branch and looked. I could not call my dearest mate. I felt my honour was debased by what l saw but could not fight. BY JOSEPH ZENIEH ALL RIGHTS RESERVED ____________
