The sick arrived in hordes,
Some seriously ill , some in acute pain, some on the verge of death.
They received everyone with love and compassion.

The disease was new and had no known cure.It spread like wild fire.It was deadly. But none of this mattered. They wanted to take care of the ill with love and compassion.

They wanted to save  all those who had come to them with hope in their hearts.

They had no protection. They were vulnerable. They knew death stalked them in every breath they took. But they wanted to defy death for their patients.

The disease was savageous. It killed many of them mercilessly. They never expected anyone to shed a tear for them. There was no mourning.

  Their tenacity was exemplary.
They faught hard with the invisible enemy. Their love and compassion had the power to destroy any evil thing in the world.

They saved great many lives.
Their only weapon against the  foe was their tenacity to fight  till the end.

They were the real heroes of our lives.  They were the saviours of humanity. They were the living god's of humanity.

Let us worship all health care workers, who put their lives on the line everyday for saving the lives of their fellow humans.
