When we were kids we would trace pictures on each others back and see if we could guess what the other person drew
now, years later, we find our self in the same situation
but with a few twists
in place of our old childish clothes we have sheets
sheets that enclose and envelop us and our entangled bodies
pulling us close and near as we stroke our warm fingers over each other
drawing whatever we please
but now, we are not just confined to each others back
and I prove this as my fingers dance up along your ever so familiar arm towards your neck and down onto your chest
with my fingers I genitally caress the unspoken, invisible words of love into your skin
everywhere my fingers trail I've come to know and love, to have and to hold
your body is a canvas that I will continue to leave my finger painted love marks on for now
and forevermore
