Commuter Poet
Poems
Jun 2020
A gift
Only now
Am I learning the art
Of loving
In my childhood
‘love’ had to be earned
And this injurious transaction
Has stained
The decades
Of my adult life
And yet
I somehow
Know
That I can learn
To love
And that love
Must be directed inwards
As well as outwards
7th June
A family karmic collision provokes some learning
