Poems
Jun 2013
perpetually unrequited
I want to stop
the fluttering in my stomach
whenever you walk in the room
and the ache in my chest
whenever you talk to her
because if you truly wanted me
(like I wish you did)
you would have gotten me
by now
I realize now
that this unrequited love
is going to stay
unrequited
I just need to get this off my chest and maybe get him out of my heart
