Rapport
Love wants
from me
something that I cannot give
Love twists
its arms
around my
side
and gently
holds my
body
with fierce verification.
It strokes my
needs
and fuses my
mind
with my
body’s
instinctual reprehensibility
without reason,
Love wants to be heard
Love wants to be known
But love cannot move beyond.
Love is paralyzed when prodded
By love’s own fee
of
self-ownership.
See,
love wants
more
See,
Love thinks: more
Love sees: more
Love FEELS: more
Love demands: MORE
And more
And more
And more;
Until love,
yet again,
needs
more
love.
