Broken lullaby
A shattered birdsong,
Broken by Time.

An abandoned railroad,
Faded away and empty

Empty streets,
Eerie mist, settling like smoke.

Where is everyone?
Lost to Time herself?

A mother’s cracked, broken lullaby,
Haunting the ghostly town.

Wailing through the still silence,
Again and again and again
