My head rests against your shoulder And I feel whole again. The slow, swelling music Drowned out by the voice in my head reminding me, "You survived." As we move I feel pieces of me The pieces he stole Filling my heart again. I feel whole again. You look me in the eyes And whisper quiet words of Pure, unadulterated admiration. I don't even look over at him To see if he is watching me utter them back. And I feel whole again.
