Here we meet again
In a cold, darkened room
Another quiet appointment
My voice carried to your tomb

Life has been eventful
Things I’m sure you’ve seen
Lots of laughing and crying
With one less shoulder to lean

I’m sure you would be proud
Even if not all you may have wished
I try to be the everything I can
But half of me is always missed

Can you hear me?
Am I just talking to air?
Can you hear me?
Give me a sign you’re there
