May 2020
You taught me insecurity,
You taught me that my emotions,
are meaningless and unworthy
You taught me that women don't cry,
but the salty water have stained my heart

You left me with scars,
Scars that I'm never afraid to show,
Scars that have become my stepping stone to greatness
My wings have been mended again,
I'm learning to fly on my own
