Alluring,
even seductive
when held
between

Unpetal'd,
it is still
a rose but,
with thorns •

Unbloomed and unessenced it may
occasionally
be •

But a rose,
is still a rose afterall •

Thorns and all •

The thorns
are to
protect itself
from the
unworthy •

Be sure
