Life is not some course
Upon an unmarked path
As was theorized before my time

No, life is the path
Unforeseen, elongating, meandering
Being blazed with each escaping moment

We do not leave prints on the path
But others leave footprints on us
As they travel along with us

Some are minuscule, some gargantuan
Some are washed away with rains of sorrow
But others, they last forever
