May 2020
it in a martini glass
her frown is covered
in a scrunchie
she stole at the CVS
her lipstick sticks to it

She masks
it in a poem
she throws em
about birds and trees

She masks
it to the man
behind the door
as she stands outside
inches from his face

She masks
it as she sings
behind dark sunglasses
that covers her iris

The world is masked
in the virus
so nobody sees
