As they say “parting, is such sweet sorrow”

What will she do when he leaves her come tomorrow?

He might be their‘s, but he’s only theirs to borrow

While he’s away, she’ll  be empty, she’ll  be hallow

A kiss, a kiss
Was the thing that they most missed

While away, every day
Protecting their homeland

She prayed, she prayed
To protect her Navy man

And on the day of his return
She scurried to the base

To meet her man, to meet her man
And kiss him on his face

When their eyes met, when their eyes met
He took her by the hand

And kissed her deep with all his might

Under the moonlight, on dry land

A day unlike any other day
Arrived as quick as could be

A reason to rejoice had come
Expecting a new baby 👶🏻

Their love for one another
Had produced a baby boy

And this affair between two lovers
Ended with great joy
