I wish I were the sunlight
Before nightfall
Before sunset
When he is pure
Shining brightest
Afraid
Of his circling death
When we see his rays
Stretching through the trees
Reaching for our help
To stay afloat
I want to be the white sun
When he’s just over my head
Staring in our eyes
Hugging our world
One last time
Before the explosion of colors
