Poems
May 2020
She
She lays worn out
On her kitchen table
Cold coffee dripping
On a splintered wooden floor
The preacher man running
From a smudged windowpane
Not recalling who she was
She births a bird from her mouth
And whispers, "no more"
#rebirth
