You keep your glass
Near the bedside
It has milk
You get up for cookies
An empty tummy..

You see the fridge empty
Only eggs smile at you
The spelled out magnets are distracting
Making it easy to get cosy and easier
I can see you in the pale moon
You are hungry...

You fry an omelette
Nursing your stomach
The eggs have found their place
On the tray
No speck of doubt
Reminds you of your dead hour
Or the day when the rain fell
You look outside the rain pelts
The window calls to you to fly away
To bed
