Sitting at home alone tonight
When I could be airborne taking flight
I wish and wish with all my might
I know one day I’ll see the light

Thirsty on the desert sand
Water highly in demand
Listen to the Lord‘s command
Take me to a far off land

Suffocating humidity
Steam rising from the streets
Dismantling all of my impurities
I never meant to keep

The rain, it falls from high above
Cloudy, like my brain
But I’d rather not speak of it
If it’s all the same

Festering like a bee hive
Danger to the queen
Swarming like the honey bee
Yet, I still feel it’s sting

Healthy and appealing
The pleasure that it brings
Is it worth the cost
For all those without wings?

Sweet, yet unrefined
In its purist form
Coagulated syrup
Natures unicorn
