I'm stranded in a storm of blues.

Fighting against the rain with my flashlight looking for even a glimpse of anything but blue.

I don't remember the last time I looked around and saw yellow.

The horizon is lit up with a cerulean sunset.

I long to see lilac but instead my vision is clogged with cobalt.

All of these blues are pouring down and none of them hold beauty.

I guard myself with my umbrella but it still doesn't stop the indigo from staining my skin.

I am forever blue.

I have been marked with all of life's crayons.

Whenever someone looks into my eyes all they see are murky shades of turquoise and cyan.

Every single time I try and let myself be violet I feel the paint cans of azure and periwinkle being dumped on me from above.

I long to feel like a rainbow but there's no escaping this color.

I am blue.

And that is my color.
