Rainbow coloured shadows melt away into darkness
becoming slow laboured breathes of tortured souls
as dreamers paint their pictures of love
a funeral march begins

for whom the bell tolls.......

While eagles sail on the wings of the wind
the pain echoes cries of mourning.....
While children are chasing the butterflies
the threat of war is dawning

...and all is calm...

While wine is poured into crystal holes
the sun pales and dries
as men speak of their lust for freedom
the chalk garden dries....
