I said goodbye, turned around
Thought I had it all figured out
When I still had alot to learn
And nearly every bridge was burned

So I started out, on my own
Kept telling myself that I was grown
Started out for God knows where
And that's when He found me there

And I believe
That this place is not my home
I'm just passing through
It's just another stepping stone
I believe that he has greater plans
One heart divided
And one set of footprints in the sand
Yes its true I believe in You
Oh I believe in you

This cross is getting heavy
I can't stand to bear the pain
You pick me up when I fall down
And set me on my feet again

This world is getting scary
But I'm leaving it all behind
For a day will come Lord I'm waiting
For a blink of an eye

And I believe
That this place is not my home
I'm just passing through
It's just another stepping stone
I believe that You have greater plans
One heart divided
And one set of footprints in the sand
Yes its true I believe in You
Oh I believe in you
