We painted the sky orange.
Different shades of orange,
Tangerine,
Salamander and a splash of amber,
Similar to the way I’d paint you,
While my lips touched  the nectar on your skin,
As sweet as honey,
Your lips against mine,
Your skin against mine,
As you licked off the pain and misery away,
For every time
Your arm feels like heaven,
All my scars turned into lustrous stars.
You’re a masterpiece,
A work of art,
I found a little piece of home within you.
