Life is disappointing

Beautiful words are nothing but empty
We expect things to get better
But reality, everything gets worse

"Think positively and you shall see"
Sugar-coated words as such
Only leads to unfulfillment
Expectation only to be cut short

So, is this what life it?
Nothing but disappointments
Even life lies to you
And breaks its promise to you
Then, why should you feel bad
When you break a promise

Life does it, anyway....
