I had a dream I saw an old friend
It reminded me of times that never end
In the midst of the dream I caught someone's heart
And the confusion may have torn it apart
In an intervention from grandma
And attempts for forms in tandem
I awoke to find that none of it was true

With attempts to response
another friend made a pause
Attacking from the heart
Thought I tore him apart
And in the tornado of emotion
I seeked a troubled devotion
And in the heart of the moment
A saint had my atonement
And with tears in my eyes
I looked to the sky
This must be a dream
A reality that can never be
