Paradox

none so powerful

have I received

as this gift

of dancing ink

what wounds have healed

what tears have dried

as words carry

my heart's pain

to the page

where it remains

imprisoned

each night I stare

into darkness

afraid to close my eyes

should morning reveal

my pen

depleted...

none so powerful

have I received

as this curse

of restless ink

what wounds renewed

what tears spill fresh

as words

fill my heart

with pain

immortalized

on the page

each night I stare

into darkness

afraid to close my eyes

should morning reveal

my pen

refilled...
