Addiction
Affliction
My hearts swollen from the friction
Is this real or is this fiction?
Let me give you a depiction
A simple contradiction
My heart sharing its conviction

Not like any other
Rejected by her Mother
Cold words unkindly uttered
Look deeper and you'll see
The inner child yearning to be
Me
         Me
                 Me
Free

Find me
Discover and see
Storm my castle
What a hassle
I dare you to try
Read behind the lines
Understand why it’s easier to lie

Submission
Suspicion
Always giving you permission
To see me as a victim
Resentment as a symptom
Starving for some love
If you have some time
I know better
Spend your dime
Can't be bothered
Won't even try
Easier to render
Actions that you can deny
I want my voice
l have no choice
Afraid to speak
I'm so weak
What a freak

Find me
Discover and see
Storm my castle
What a hassle
I dare you to try
Read behind the lines
Understand why I had to lie
Not like any other
Rejected from a Mother
Cold words unkindly uttered
Look deeper and you'll see
The inner child yearning to be
Me
         Me
                 Me
Free

Obsessed with your perception
So I conform into perfection
Fearing your rejection
I'm dying for affection
Not some negative connection
Out of my control
I'm on a roll
You don't even know
I'm dying slow
Just let me go

Find some love, at a price
High and painful
You'll give advice
I won't think twice
I'm not so nice
I wanted you
I wanted your time
You wanted me
To fit your mold
Does as she's told
A constant scold

Find me
Discover and see
Storm my castle
What a hassle
I dare you to try
Read behind the lines
Understand why I had to lie
Not like any other
Rejected by a Mother
Cold words unkindly uttered
Look deeper and you'll see
The inner child yearning to be
Me
         Me
                 Me
Free
It's time to find her
Now and forever
Give up the pride
And just surrender
Time to stop her
Heart from dying
End the crying
And the lying
Search for the
Majestic Lion
