Pictures scattered everywhere
Of the whole truth of this love affair
A distinct voice ringing in my head
Saying "you know that this love is dead"

Pain and anger pulses thru my soul
Gives me anxiety like nothing I can control
Pictures and letters I keep throwing away
Praying and hoping you would let me stay

Memories in sunsets, sunrise and dawn
Singing up to the morning sun
As tears keep falling on my face
I felt like I have lost this race

Yesterday felt like everything was fine
In fact, you were always there to remind
Marriage, honeymoon and kids you promised
But now, our love has vanished

Perhaps you were just meant to pass
And now I know our love wouldn't last
