What is the point of a crush?
It’s just someone who turns your heart to mush.
Whenever you see them smile,
Or when you hear them laugh everyone in a while.

So what do we have crushes for?
As why are we to afraid to make them something more?
Maybe because of the way we are made,
It is our insecurities that make us afraid.

I want to tell you just how I feel,
But the mere thought of you dating me is too surreal.
You turn my heart to mush,
But I guess that’s the point of a crush.
