He came out with his *** belly
Spitting some gibberish
He sounded strange
The white man nodded in accordance
Playing along so feintly

His words were long
Yet different
Not cautious
But depicting a mild smile

He boasted of his prowess
Commanding the stage
Speaking words strangely
Criticising the white man's language

Beri-Beri
An example of his prowess
Expressing a nonsensical of himself
We all looked in wonders
His peers clapping at his performance

The narrator
A Nigerian professor
A grandiloquence of English language
****-a-doodle-doo a man of language
