I Stand With It

It comes in waves as I try and push it

back to back I stand with it

Churning within igniting the dark

clouds that roll in and soil the plot

The fight in her eyes

light up the sorrow behind my

back to back I stand with it

kept in down under the bottle

Pinned on my back to back i stand with it

Stuck is my head in the rain

clouds my better wit

timed out in a mere instant

Wait for what never comes

around the phone calls screened

haven't quite learned to fall on

my back to back i stand with it

But it will pass it always

passes under the bridge

like water breaks over the

bon fires burned out resilience
