When you stopped the calls
Stopped the early morning calls
Halted the goodnight kisses
When the "Have you eaten" stopped
I knew I have lost you

I had sleepless nights
This by far, my worst nightmare
When you stopped nagging
Stopped asking about work
You created an indelible vacuum
That non could ever fill

When was the last time you asked?
About Chioma, Halima and Silfa
When you stopped sniffing on my phone
When you became monosyllabic
I knew I had lost my crown

Like droplets of dew
As the dawn breaks
Your tear filled the earth
You saved them for the last
Then you drew the curtain

You are the only star in my cloud
The only jet in my Airspace
I have gone wide and wild
Non is as sweet as you my world
Like the prodigal son I return
Please, open the gates

I wish the clock never stopped
Please forgive my immaturity
A dangerous one that cost me all
My heart beats for non but you
My world, please come back
