At some point

I've known since I was
Maybe 7
And I was taught the life cycle of cells

Somehow it made sense
I am made of cells
If they die
Then I die

Simple.

I just hate that
My cells can't feel direct
Emotions.

I like to think
That if they could
That maybe then
They'd hold on a little longer.
