He Hung the Moon
with ivy.
So, I decided to climb.
But it wouldn’t hold my weight
So, I slid back down
at a speeding rate.
He hung the moon
with rope cheese.
So, I decided to take a bite.
But soon got full
and lost my appetite.
He hung the moon
with horsehair.
So, I decided to make a braid.
But through each twist and turn
I swayed.
He hung the moon
with an olive branch.
So, I decided to give him
another chance.
