Some run from real danger
Retreat to a sole safe space
Some retreat from a perceived threat
That never was dangerous
Some hide from reality
To dilute their perceptions
A dark thought
All of us run from ourselves
Contact never goes through our head
Rather be caught dead
But why?
It’s okay to escape from reality
But ourselves?
We are the thing that we most hate
Stuck in an incurred fate
Desires to escape…
Yet is it so dangerous?
Here’s a theory
A mere idea
