A Summer's Thaw
Amidst a crowd
and silent roar
I spoke aloud
but to the floor
No one heard
or dared repeat
my spoken word
under their feet
For none could place
within the torrent
my hidden face
where life lay dorment
Though from the ground
after the snow
words rebound
and seeds do grow
